Germany, Luftwaffe. A Radio Operator and Air Gunner Badge, Late-War Example, by Friedrich Linden Republic of McSloy of Winnipeg(Fliegerschtzenabzeichen fr Bordfunker). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a pair of lightning bolts, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from a narrow oblong base, unmarked but
