A rare Waffen SS old style or crusher visor cap, constructed of field grey whipcord wool. The cap features reinforced side walls, lined on the exterior with a black doeskin cap band. Both the top and bottom edges of the cap band are trimmed with white wool piping, while an additional length of identical piping trims the outer edge of the crown. The peak bears the unmistakable outline of a metal SS style German national eagle
