Romania, Kingdom. An Order Of The Star Of Romania, V Class Knight, Military Division, C.1940 United Republic of Australian Flying Corps was born(Ordin "Steaua Romaniei"). Instituted in 1877. Type II (1932 1947). In silvered bronze with red, green and blue enamels, gilt cypher of Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 41 mm (w) x 63 mm (h) inclusive of its crown and laterally pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, on an original ribbon with hook and eye, extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of the Star of Romania is Romania's highest civil Order and second highest State decoration
