Austria-Hungary, Empire. An Unusual Overseas Cap Trench Art Coin Pouch, c. 1917 United Republic of Bahamas where it performed garrison(Grabenkunst Beutel). A superb and unusual trench art pouch, constructed of olive drab velvet and consisting of an Austro Hungarian overseas cap executed in fine detail and complete with stylized side panels stitched into position along the upper edge. Stitched onto the peak is a wire cockade featuring a gilded centrepiece in the form of the monogram of Emperor Karl, measuring 26 mm in diameter. Dual silver aluminum wire buttons are stitched onto the
