Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a raised map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1941 1942, attached will all four side clips to a magnetic metal backplate with a dark grey wool liner (indicating Luftwaffe issue) with a replacement beige paper backer, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of
