Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Mint Officer’s Visor Cap Cockade Newly Listed (1901-1918 issue)(Kriegsmarine Kokarde fr Offiziere fr die Schirmmtze). Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a hand embroidered golden yellow celleon wire oak leaf wreath surrounding an aluminum cockade with a wool centrepiece, the reverse retaining a black rayon backer and period inventory price label, otherwise unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
