An Order Of St. John, Knight Of Honour Cross In Gold consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac topped with a black threaded(Ritterorden St. Johannis vom Spital zu Jerusalem Kreuz der Ehrenritter). Instituted 23 May 1812 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III. (1852 1918 issue). Constructed of Gold with enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with white enameled arms set within a Gold frame, joined together through the quadrants by crowned and black painted Prussian angles with the Gold base visible through the heads, the twelve oclock arm topped by a pebbled fan suspension
