A 1914-1918 Lippe War Merit Cross Archive supporting a brass chain linkA 1914 1918 Lippe War Merit Cross (Kriegsverdienst Kreuz); on gilt bronze; the obverse bears a centrally placed laurel wreath encircling the Rose of Lippe, topped with a crowned cipher of Prince Leopold IV, with the lower armed bearing 1914; the reverse inscribed For Distinction During Wartime across all arms; horizontally pierced ball and loop for suspension; on correct replacement ribbon; some contact marks, but otherwise very fine condition.
