The tip is also rounded so that the hackle is not cut by the edge. It has a weight of 11g 0. 38oz, so you can hackling even hard hackles on the stem. The inside of the pliers has been sandblasted for a non slip finish. The edge of the tip is rounded all around to catch hacklestalks and make them less likely to be damaged by
