Germany, Third Reich. A Cased Honour Cross of the German Red Cross, III Class, Type II Newly Listed mint and unissued example(Ehrenzeichen des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes III. Klasse mit Etui). Instituted April 28th 1922. (1934 1935 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, consisting of a Geneva Cross with white enameled arms, the obverse overlaid by a central black enameled DRK style German national eagle, in turn bearing a DRK insignia, the 12 oclock arm with an integral loop and suspension ring connecting to the shortened modern ribbon, unmarked, measuring 40. 1 mm
