Vienna Volunteer Rescue Society Merit Badge (multi piece hollow construction, obverse in bronze gilt with black enamels, gilt metal backer, illustrating the bust of Empress Elisabeth of Austria (1837 1898) within a beaded circular frame, centered on a six pointed star, backed by fire flames on the horizon and water waves below, surrounded by the inscription "WIENERFREIWILLIGE RETTUNGS CESELLSCHAFT" (Vienna Volunteer Rescue Society) and
