Schaumburg-Lippe, Principality. A 1914 Faithful Service Cross, C.1914 Newly Listed 2 in Toronto(Kreuz fr Treue Dienste 1914). Instituted 18 November 1914 by Prince Adolph. (1914 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with a central monogram of Prince Adolph, the arms bearing an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE 1914 (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE 1914), unmarked, measuring 36. 47 mm (w) x 40. 56 mm (h), weighing 16. 4 grams, in extremely fine condition.
