A Japanese Naval Officer’s White Cover Summer Uniform Visor Cap Auction Archive measures approximately 21cm x 30cmThis is a very well preserved Second War period Imperial Japanese Navy officers summer uniform visor cap, constructed of dark blue wool and covered with a pull on white summer uniform cover that secures with a single press stud at the rear. The band is covered in ribbed black cloth and an insignia consisting of a machine embroidered gold bullion wreath with golden highlights depicting a nickel silver chrysanthemum at the peak, a cockade with a metal
