Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse with a central crossed bayonet and stick grenade, within a square oak leaf wreath, flanked on each side by sun rays and with four oak leaves and two acorns on each side, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 96. 75 mm (w) x 25. 47 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
