Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching dual lightning bolts, the reverse with dual visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened catch, unmarked, measuring 45. 70 mm
