Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oka leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a frontal depiction of a battleship cutting through waves, the reverse with a ball hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Richard Simm & Shne, Gablonz, measuring 44. 07 mm
