Constructed of bronze, with a ribbed and textured handle, the obverse with an inscription of ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DIE LORETTOHHE (IN MEMORY OF THE LORETTOHHE), with crossed bayonets and a Cross Patte, the reverse with an inscription of WELTKRIEG 1914 1916 (WORLD WAR 1914 1916) and a makers mark of E. MIKLOWEIT with a date of 10. 4. 16., measuring 25 mm (w) x 254 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
