Germany, Imperial. A Wound Badge, Gold Grade Hold serving on H(Verwundetenabzeichen in Gold). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38. 19 mm (w) x 43. 26 mm (h), weighing 11. 1 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
