A well preserved Heer Infantry Officers visor cap, constructed of field grey whipcord wool. It features reinforced sidewalls, fully lined on the exterior with a dark green doeskin wool cap band. White wool piping trims both the top and bottom edges of the cap band, with an additional band of identical piping surrounding the crown. Pinned onto the peak of the cap is a silvered zink insignia consisting of a
