Germany, Heer. An EM/NCO’s M43 Field Cap, Postwar-Modified by Bavaria Filmkunst Auction Archive Circa 1900(Heer Einheitsfeldmtze M43 fr Mannschaften). An interesting Heer EM NCOs M43 field cap, constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panels, scalloped toward the front, which provide optional ear and neck protection to the wearer.
