Germany, Heer. An Em/Nco’s Belt Buckle United Republic of 1882 in Sheffield(Heer Grtelschnalle). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed wreath bearing an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD IS WITH US) and oak leaf branches, over a pebbled field, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, the latter retaining a period original brown leather strap, the strap bearing an illegible makers mark, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h),
