Constructed of black wool with a dark brown wool underlaying, trimmed with white piping, and bearing machine embroidered white initials NPEA (Nationalpolitische Erziehungsanstalten National Political Institutes of Education), unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 120 mm (l), demonstrating minor material fatigue (including a cut to the inner edge which has exposed the buckram core), in uniform removed
