Canada, CEF. A 104th Infantry Battalion Cap Badge, Type I with "Pro Impera" Newly Listed Group attributed to RCAF PilotIn browning copper, voided, maker marked "G. F. HEMSLEY MONTREAL" on the reverse, measuring 38. 5 mm (w) x 47 mm (h), both lugs intact, extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in New Brunswick with mobilization headquarters at Sussex under the authority of G. O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed June 19, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel G. W. Fowler with a strength of 42 officers and 1,084 other ranks. The Battalion
