An extremely well preserved Luftwaffe Officers overseas cap, constructed of dark grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded with fold down side panels, trimmed along the circumference with a band of silver aluminum wire piping added post manufacture when the owner evidently received a promotion. The peak bears an insignia in the form of a dark grey wool backer overlaid by a machine embroidered silver grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching
