Sweden, Kingdom. An Order of Vasa, I Class Commander in Gold Archive Blennerhassett was awarded the Distinguished(Kungliga Vasaorden). Instituted 1772. Type I (1772 1844). A very early, Napoleonic period award, in Gold with fine red enameling, with separately applied wheat stock at centre, measuring 28. 5mm (w) x 60. 8 mm (h), weighs 14. 92 grams, enamels intact, small areas of wear to edges, in extremely fine condition.
