In silver, cornucopia hallmarked and fasces hallmarked on the reverse, engraver marked "DANIEL DUPUIS" on the obverse, measuring 30. 2 mm in diameter, dark patina, very light contact, replacement ribbon, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Expedition to Dahomey Commemorative Medal was instituted on November 12, 1892 and awarded to participants of the First Franco Dahomean War (1890)
