Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Pilot’s Badge, Bullion Version Archive from March 1937 until September(Luftwaffe Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen, Stoffversion). Constructed of twisted, rolled, and flat hand embroidered silver aluminum bullion wires in the shape of an oak wreath with an eagle in the centre clutching a mobile swastika in its talons; on a grey wool backer; with a black rayon and paper backer; measuring 72 mm (w) x 58 mm (h); in overall very fine condition.
