Germany, Third Reich. An Order of the German Eagle, II Class Breast Star, by Gebrüder Godet Republic of 29th October(Verdienstorden vom Deutschen Adler, Bruststern II. Klasse mit Schwertern). Instituted 1 May 1937. (1943 1945 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with enamels, the obverse consisting of a six pointed radiant star, bearing a central white enameled Maltese Cross, with its arms joined through the quadrants by NSDAP stye German national eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastikas on white enameled discs, the reverse with two blasted rivets securing the
