Germany, Kriegsmarine. An Officer’s Dress Dagger, by Lauterjung & Sohn consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac 18th Infantry Battalion (Western Ontario(Kriegsmarine Dolch fr Offiziere). A Kriegsmarine Officers dress dagger, measuring 41. 5 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 25 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to the tip and edges. Dual narrow fullers run the majority of the length of each side of the blade, which also bears double sided, acid etched designs consisting of nautical imagery flanked by arabesque
