Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central medallion bearing a raised monogram of Duke Wilhelm, the reverse with an analogous medallion bearing a raised number 21, unmarked, measuring 31. 02 mm (w) x 35. 30 mm (h), weighing 14. 6 grams
