A Leopold cross paty constructed of gilded silver and mother of pearl, the obverse centre bears the crowned double headed eagle coat of arms of Austria, the arms of the cross are pebbled with a pebbled border and a smooth edge, the reverse is mother of pearl, with a roller shaped suspension loop, on a triangular yellow ribbon with black stripes, measuring 32. 75 mm
