An ovular badge constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse is plain and bears a vertical pinback, measuring 38. 40 mm (w) x 42. 82 mm (h), very fine; Germany, Wehrmacht. A Field Made Wound Badge, Gold Grade (Verwundetenabzeichen in Gold).
