Germany, Prussia, A First War Fliers Commemorative Badge by Paul Meybauer Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic securely stitched through zink loops(Flieger Erinnerungsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a ribbon, topped by a semi hollow German State Crown, around a central eagle set over a background, just above a rural landscape, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of manufacture by Paul Meybauer
