Cuba, Republic. An Order Of Honor & Merit Of The National Red Cross, By Rothe, Grand Cross Star, C.1915 Newly Listed Oberst (01 Oct 1939)(La Orden de Honor y Mrito de la Cruz Roja Cubana). Instituted 1913. 1913 1978 issue. Of high Austrian manufacture, a fine eight pointed faceted star in silver gilt, obverse featuring a nicely enameled red Latin Cross, depicting five pointed silver star in each quadrant, centre medallion exhibiting a handmade Cuban coat of arms, surrounded by the Latin inscription INTER INIMICOS CHARITAS 1909 (Charity between Enemies), reverse with flat pin assembly,
