Germany. A Wound Badge, Black Grade, Stamped Cut-Out Version United Republic of with brown tab(Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz). Oval shaped blackened metal (magnetic); the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, sheet metal hinge, and a round wire catch; measuring 38. 59 mm (w) x 43. 19 mm (h); weighing 9. 7 grams; with all of its finish worn off on the obverse, but well preserved on the
