St George in the East Church was built 1714-1726 to the design of Nicholas Hawksmoor
one of whom is mopping his forehead
and to the right a husband is beating his wife with a stick he has presumably just purchased from the stick seller

Built in 1672, St Bride's is one of Christopher Wren's churches built to replace those destroyed by the Great Fire of London.
