A Borden’s Motor Machine Gun Battery Cap Badge Auction An Iron Cross First ClassIn bronze, unmarked, consisting of a maple leaf base, superimposed on a tank, a banner running along the lower edge reads CANADA, reverse dual lugs, 45. 7 mm (h) x 45 mm (w), extremely fine. Footnote: The letters "BAB" represent "Bordens Armoured Battery" named after the Prime Minister Robert Borden; the name was changed during the spring of 1915 to Borden's Motor Machine Gun Battery. The unit was one of the early armoured car units formed by Canada
