A 1st Tank Battalion Cap Badge Republic of 13 mm (w) x 46In silver and pickled brass, unmarked, the obverse bearing a tank, surmounted by a royal crown, a banner running along the lower edge reads CANADA, reverse dual lugs with pin, measuring 52. 6 mm (h) x 46. 6 mm (w), light contact, extremely fine. Footnote: The 1st Tank Battalion was organised on July 1, 1918 and disbanded on November 15, 1920.
