On original silk ribbon, pleasing dark patina, extremely fine. Footnote: Colour Sergeant Robert Bain is shown on the roll of the 373 man 2nd Battalion and is listed on page 60 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866 70" by John Thyen. He is acknowledged has having been in action at the Battle of Ridgeway on June 2, 1866 with the Queen's Own Rifles. (C: 14)
