TARRANT, A. B. H. M. S. MONARCH, full size, discolouration throughout, very minor contact marks, remains very fine. Footnote: Able Seaman W. Tarrant is on the QSA medal roll, serving with HMS Monarch. The HMS Monarch served on the Cape of Good Hope Station during the Second Boer War (18991902) as part of Britains naval presence along the South African coast. Operating primarily from bases such as
