Male hemp plant Leymen 21st September 1960Botanical studies of Indian hemp, the male plant of Cannabis sativa, including a detached leaf, flower buds, stamen and other details. Seven figures lettered A N. Plate 2 in the monograph On the cultivation and preparation of hemp; as also of an article produced in various parts of India by Robert Wissett (London, 1804). Inscribed 'Pl. 2 Reeve Scpt.'. Robert Wissett (d. 1820), Clerk to the Committee of Warehouses of the East India Company, was elected
