A Rare Army Standard Top By Kraas Foundry, Berlin 1942 Auction a West PointerIn cast aluminum, marked "BILDGIESSEREI KRAAS BERLIN 42" (Kraas Foundry, Berlin) on the base of the coupling, illustrating the left facing Army (Heer) eagle, its talons clutching a swastika below, in an ornate spade shaped frame, marked on the top of the coupling near the frame on the reverse, 124 mm x 275 mm, two holes on the side of the coupling near the base for attachment to the flag pole, very good detail, light contact, near extremely fine. Rare.
