Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central mobile swastika overlaid by a sword, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened catch, maker marked W. REDO, SAARLAUTERN, measuring 46. 22 mm (w) x 58. 60 mm (h), weighing 18. 1 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of finish to the base metal, in extremely fine condition.
