Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised swastika, overlaid by central wreathed double Sig runes, the reverse bearing a raised number 8, overlaid by an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SS), unmarked, measuring 15. 54 mm in diameter, weighing 2. 9 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near mint condition.
