Consisting of a heavily silvered wreath, with laurel leaves on the left half of the wreath, and oak leaves on the right half of the wreath; with a heavily gilded eagle attached to the obverse via two rivets visible on the reverse,; the reverse plain, with a vertical needle pin, a barrel hinge, and a round flat wire catch; measuring 42. 36 mm (w) x 53. 01 mm (h); weighing 36. 8 grams; in overall mint condition.
