This is a striking pair of Japanese style faceted pottery cups with what I believe is a Yunomi form

with just a very small amount of loosening/loss of the embroidery in a couple of spots (as documented in photos)

Surely there is a potter or sculptor out there who can put these to good use or someone else to invent a new use for them entirely.
