I'd guess the box dates to the first quarter of the 20th century

with these great brownish (with a touch of pinkness) swirls plus a star in a band around the top

Mid-Century Etched Blue Glass Vase black and mustard and designI don't know a lot about glass, and don't buy a lot of it, but this large, rich blue vase, etched with very MCM lozenge pattern (a bit tricky to photograph), was too beautiful to leave behind. I bought it at a sale that included lots of Scandinavian modern, and would guess it is likely Danish, but I don't know for sure.
