with a small scratch to the surface of one of one of the lighter swallows

The box is in excellent overall condition

Hand-painted and finely made

Carved Oak Clothes Brush with Horsehair Bristles imported these were part of Larsen'sOh, so many lovely brushes! This is the first I've seen quite like this, with a finely and wonderfully carved wooden back (oak, I'd guess!) featuring intertwining oak leaves and fabulous little acorns. The bristles are a blonde horsehair, I believe; very pretty against the wood, and in great, serviceable condition!
