Strand of Antique 300 Year Old Clear Dogon Beads watermelon From the Ao tribe of26" strand of graduated, clear beads Dutch made and traded in Mali, West Africa in the late 1700's, collected by the Dogon Tribe. Beads range from 8mm diameter x 5mm tall, to 17mm diameter x 14mm. Over 300 years old, these beads show some signs of wear which include: internal and external cracks, chips, calcification, and some pitting. A few cobalt blues in one strand pictured.
