Just a lovely old blonde wood bevelled glass hand mirror with a great round loop at the base of the handle making for easy holding and hanging

but I still think they're pretty beautiful birds - especially in flight

One of the loops (third from right) for hanging is mostly missing

which seem mostly to date from the 1940s or so

I am always on the lookout for antique treen bottles and boxes, and so often disappointed to pull them out of cases to find a large crack running down one side. This one, on the other hand, is in exceptional condition and just stunning. Late ish 19th century, and I believe made of boxwood, it would once have held a glass bottle inside, but now could be used to house all sorts of little things, or nothing at all! 5" tall x 2 3 4"
